DFI - Day 2 - 2019
I felt more confident during the session today and I think it was because I knew a little bit about what was being presented. The things that I learnt was the finer details. There were a number of apps like Google Keep that looks as though it would be useful.
There are definitely ways of using Google that will make my workflow better. I have used Google Calendars and there are some features that will make it more efficient to use.
Having the New Entrant class, Year 1 and 2, I think this session is more beneficial for me rather than my students. Working with other colleagues to video a Google Hangout was a big learning curve and it was new for all of us, so didn't feel out of my depth. Thank you ladies for your encouragement.
It's great that you felt more confident today Ingrid. I think you are right in that the skills you learnt will benefit you and it was great that you were able to participate in the Hangout. Perseverance is something we expect from our learners and sometimes it is great to put ourselves in their shoes.
